Making a positive impact on the communities where we all live and work – and inspiring others to join our efforts – is essential to our Service philosophy. Although no single organization has the necessary resources to provide for all the needs of a community, we strongly believe that by creating a socially responsible framework for our activities, and by working in concert with our neighborhoods and nonprofit partners, our collective ability to make a difference is truly unlimited.

To support that pledge, Commerce donates a significant percentage of its net income each year to nonprofit initiatives through its Corporate Giving Program. Over the years, millions of dollars in financial and in-kind assistance – and thousands of Team Member hours – have been provided to educational, community, human service, arts, and health-related programs, many of which focus on improving the welfare of children and families.

We recognize the value of financial support, but also understand the critical importance of our community outreach efforts. Programs like Commerce Cares unite Commerce Team Member volunteers with nonprofits in need, while our Summer Reading Program and CommerceWOW!Zone financial literacy program actively involve us in support of our communities’ educational initiatives for youth.
